Happy 5th Birthday Ainsley!

Yesterday, the 18th, was Ainsley's 5th birthday. Where does the time go? I have some fun pics to post of her parties but for now I'll just put this one in, that I took at lunch yesterday. What a cutie patootie!!!

It's a float. For swimming. And it is no longer ON Ainsley!!! She is now officially swimming with "none floats"!!! So proud of this girl - it was just in October that she had her very first lesson. And screamed and sobbed and cried "I don't like this" "I'm scared" "I want my mom" "I don't want to do this".... all the while with a death grip on poor Miss Wanda, the teacher. And yesterday, the final float was taken off!!! She was so excited and so proud of herself!!!


I can't get the sound to work properly on the video, but here is Ainsley swimming without floats. She rocks!!! :)

Father Daughter Dance

This dance has become an annual event for Dan and the girls, and they have such a great time. He always takes them out to a nice dinner beforehand (this year was a late lunch) and also buys them a little something. This year they went to Toscano's and then onto the dance. Unfortunately they had to leave a bit early, as Hayley overdid the punch & cookies and was feeling icky. But I'm glad they managed to get this adorable picture first!!! I love how this turned out, but wow the girls look OLD. What is happening?!?!?
